Abstract

The goal is to determine the main strategies for overcoming learning difficulties, one of which is the preparation of future teachers to work with children who have learning difficulties

Methods and methodology research – to analyze the psychological and pedagogical literature regarding the definition of the essence of the concepts "educational losses", "learning losses", "learning difficulties", to analyze and generalize the views of scientists regarding the definition of strategies for overcoming learning difficulties in war conditions, to analyze our own experience of teaching the course free choice of students to outline the specifics of training future primary school teachers to work with children with learning difficulties.

The scientific novelty consists in the description of strategies for overcoming difficulties in learning and the author's course of free choice "Psychological and pedagogical support of younger schoolchildren with difficulties in learning"

The scientific review article identifies the main strategies for overcoming learning losses, one of which is the preparation of future teachers for working with children with learning difficulties. The analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature allowed (1) to define learning losses as the loss of knowledge and skills, academic regression due to certain breaks in the education of a particular student; (2) to list strategies for overcoming learning losses, the main ones being the provision of additional tasks for independent work, the implementation of tutoring programs, the adaptation of curricula, the implementation of differentiated learning technology, increasing the duration of study, including through informal education, psychological support for teachers and students, and the preparation of future teachers for working with children with learning difficulties. The author's course of free choice of students "Psychological and pedagogical support of younger schoolchildren with learning difficulties" is described.
