Abstract

A child gets his thorough experience of socialization in primary school, when he consciously becomes a member of a stable children's team. The formation and development of the children's team of the primary school depends on the competence of the teacher, who reflects the ideas and principles of the New Ukrainian School in his own professional activity. The children's team is by its nature a complex phenomenon that requires taking into account the age and individual characteristics of children, as well as mastering effective methods, techniques and means of influencing students, forms of organizing joint group activities. The essence and characteristics of the children's collective are highlighted. According to the Concept of the New Ukrainian School, the formation of a children's team should reflect key principles, including: partnership, education of values, cohesion and trust, lifelong learning. The article analyzes and substantiates the peculiarities of the formation and development of the children's team of the primary school according to these principles. It was emphasized that partnership relations in the children's team should be characterized by voluntariness, children's interest in joint activities, in unification of goals and aspirations, readiness to bear responsibility together. The teacher needs to saturate the content of the educational process with methods and techniques for revealing moral-ethical and socio-political values. The cohesion of the children's team is expressed in the unity or commitment of views, opinions, principles, values, and goals of the members of the team. Trust in the formation of a children's team is characterized at the same time by the ability to trust others, and to be responsible, honest, sensitive, benevolent. The teacher must provide an educational environment so that each member of the children's team has the opportunity to become better, acquire new knowledge, form their own life experience, realize the need for self-development and self-education, and be an active member of the mini-society. The author concluded that the development of the children's team of the primary school, taking into account the principles of the New Ukrainian School, allows to take into account the interests, aspirations, abilities of each child as much as possible, to create a friendly atmosphere for interaction with peers on the basis of values, trust and support, to socialize children, to direct the cooperation of the entire class.
