Abstract

The scientific article provides a theoretical substantiation of the concepts of "social responsibility" and
"life success" in identifying their interrelationships and interdependencies.
The purpose of the article was to determine the interrelationships and interdependencies of the concepts of
"social responsibility" and "life success" and to identify common manifestations of social subjectivity in their formation
and development in the conditions of educational institutions. Research methods. Methods of analysis, synthesis,
and systematization of domestic and foreign sources from pedagogy, psychology, and philosophy were used to
substantiate the interrelationships and interdependencies of the concepts of "social responsibility" and "life success".
The analysis of common manifestations of the social subjectivity of the individual's life activities and its
connections with the formation and development of the social responsibility of the individual in the conditions of
educational institutions was carried out. The main approaches to the interpretation of the concept of "social
responsibility" are defined: moral, ethical, empathic, emotional, reflexive, altruistic, axiological. The main
manifestations of social responsibility are identified: personal motivation to accept the responsibilities assigned
by the community to the individual, understanding their content, the moral aspect of the necessary actions;
readiness to make independent decisions and perform actions in accordance with the situation, tasks and needs
of society. Social responsibility is interpreted as an individual's tendency to adhere to the social norms generally
accepted in this society in his behavior, to fulfill role duties and his willingness to give an account for his actions.
Success in life is defined as the integral formation of qualities and skills of an individual, which characterizes his
ability to preserve and optimally reproduce, develop himself, plan his life, act productively in various life
situations, experience a state of satisfaction with the results of his own activities, perform various social roles
based on life-creating knowledge, skills and prosocial activity skills.
